This month we had another enjoyable evening with Wymondham Dementia Support Group where we celebrated spring with an evening of music from Abba to My Fair Lady, and of course of favourite John Rutter. This evening also helped raised much needed funds for a well deserving local charity.
We are having a busy month in March, and have had some success which we are all proud of. We achieved “Outstanding” at the Norfolk County Music Festival ! We still have another concert this month which we are looking forward to at the NNAB on Magpie Road.
The choir is currently enjoying singing a range of songs from My Fair Lady, including The Rain In Spain, and Ascot Gavotte

Its beginning to sound a lot like Christmas, learning the new songs and revisiting old favourites ready for the Christmas Carol Concert on December 15th. Don’t forget to get your tickets, as they sell out quickly!
We had a fantastic turn out at the Summer Concert, with many new people coming to hear us sing. Our chosen charity this time was The Hamlet Charity, and we had great pleasure donating them £1000 from the money we raised, to help them with the incredible work they do.
We are looking forward to our Summer Concert next month on 14th July, please make sure you have booked tickets if you would like to come along and join us.
We have just received cheques totalling £350 which were given in memory of Dilys Butcher, our former choir secretary, which I have sent on to the charity Sistema for their work in encouraging children from deprived areas of Norwich to play musical instruments.
